Frequently asked questions

There are hard brown spots on my glass that will not come off. What are they?

Tree sap and tannin, which is the classic Avalon Beach problem. It dries hard and bonds to the glass, so wiping does nothing. It needs to be softened and lifted chemically rather than scrubbed, because scrubbing dried sap is how glass gets scratched.

My window tracks are full of leaves and grit. Is that included?

Yes. Under this much tree cover the tracks fill constantly, and grit in a track is what wears out the rollers. Tracks and frames are cleaned out as part of the job.
